Summer is wonderful. There is no school and the holidays are long.
I usually spend my summer holidays in the country at my grandmother’s. I like the place. There is a nice river and the woods, where my friends and I can gather berries and mushrooms.
We also enjoy swimming and bathing in the river when the weather is fine. We often play different games outside all the time. I have a wonderful time in the country.
But last summer I was the happiest of all because I spent my holidays at the seaside with my mother and father. We went there in August. The weather was always nice. We swam and bathed a lot in the beautiful sea. I made new friends and we played games on the yellow sand. It was fun! But one month went so quickly!
When my grandmother and grandfather saw us, they were glad that we looked strong and healthy.
